To help you identify and attain your career goals and begin the transition to college, Cecil County Public Schools (CCPS) has developed career clusters and pathways to guide you in your studies. You will participate in a freshman seminar to explore career opportunities. By choosing the Transportation, Distribution, and Logistics Cluster, you will use a career pathway guide to develop and implement a six-year educational plan that focuses on your career goals. The pathway provides a sequence of courses to enable you to prepare for careers in transportation, distribution and logistics. You will be well on your way to an associate's degree or APICS Fundamentals Certification by earning as many as 12 college credits before high school graduation! APICS, the Educational Society for Resource Management, is an industry-recognized professioanl organization in the transportation, distribution, and logistics field. The incorporation of the APICS Fundamentals curricula into the program will ensure that you can enter employment in the transportation, distribution, and logistics field with industry recognized credentials and preparation. By utilizing problem-based scenarios and real work experience through internships during your course of study you will be better able to choose the program that is right for you, which will aid in securing higher paying positions at the beginning of your career while adding immediate value to your employer's operations.

Your guidance counselor has the most up-to-date information on the Transportation, Distribution, and Logistics cluster to aid in planning your six-year education.
