Cecil College, APICS, and you … partners in your company's success
Cecil College is pleased to offer the opportunity to have members
of your organization work towards APICS certification.
Why does APICS training mean so much?
Since being founded in 1957 as the American Production and Inventory Control
Society, APICS, has focused on providing a full range of programs that establish
a common language and a common set of standards to the field of materials
management. For its lead in this effort, APICS and its certifications are
now internationally recognized.
There are two APICS programs:
- CPIM - Certified in Production and Inventory Management
- Fundamentals of Materials and Operations Management
Results and Benefits:
Top Line Training:
CPIM preparation courses provide a common basis for individuals
and organizations to evaluate their knowledge of the evolving field of
production and inventory management prior to taking the APICS certification
exams. The program has helped experienced individuals and their organizations
become more productive and competitive.
In addition there is a new APICS program intended for people aspiring
to CPIM Certification.
For those that are relatively new to materials and operations management -
